Life in the Bluebonnets

This won’t be a portrait post of my children (or anyone else’s) in the Texas bluebonnets. As much as I have tried over the last 21 years, I have NEVER managed to get a good photo of my children in these beautiful wildflowers. Someone is always grumpy, no one looks at the camera, the grass itches,…

“The Way I View,” A Clickin Moms 12-Month Challenge: November ~ Blessings

I’m participating in a fun 12-month challenge at Clickin Moms called “The Way I View.” Each month a group of 12 CM photographers interpret that month’s theme through photographs, then link to each other’s blogs. November is all about Thanksgiving, gratitude, and being thankful… and this month’s Way I View is called Blessings. A friend of mine…

The My Four Hens Project 52 theme this week is Up Close and Personal. I was so excited to see this theme because it gave me an excuse to break out my macro lens again… my favorite! I was exploring the field behind my house when these tiny white flowers caught my eye. Each blossom is only…

Laura A - Oh my goodness. I am seriously drooling over these photos. LOVE them all!

Jessica - Holly, these are lovely–glad you got some images for your portfolio, too. And glad you loved the class!

Linda - Holly such amazing work!! I loved seeing all of these images put together, broken down into weeks. It also really really makes me want to take this workshop – though I am not ready yet but it gives me something to work on. Simply stunning work – the dramatic light is amazing and you are so lucky you have such willing subjects. I cannot wait to see where your photography moves to next with all that you’ve gained from this course.

Claire Lane - Holly these are simply stunning, you should be so proud of yourself! It’s clear you poured your heart and soul into this class. Wonderful review of the workshop too, it really is just as good as everyone says!
