365 in 52 [2013] ~ Week Nineteen

It’s late, so I’ll keep this short. Please pray for my friend, Renee. I’ve blogged about her several times and you can follow her story on her blog, Team S. She’s battling Stage IV metastatic breast cancer that has returned to her brain for the third time. She will have brain surgery again later this…

365 in 52 [2013] ~ Week Six

So I missed a few days this week but for good cause. I’ve been on an OCD-like spring cleaning kick and have reorganized nearly my entire house. Closets that haven’t seen the light of day  in years are cleaned out and organized. Jenny’s old room got a complete makeover including painting and is now my…

pam - Lovely shots.

I’m so glad your son’s ADHD medication is working. As a special education teacher, I can tell you that it makes such a difference with some children.

365 in 52 [2013] ~ Week Two

I have been so inspired! I’m reading The Photographer’s Eye by Michael Freeman which builds upon the Shooting 301: Elements of Design class that I took last fall with Sarah Wilkerson at Clickin Moms. Nina - I really connect with the chair one. I see the lines, light and quietness you do. The light on the b&w macros is incredible. Another beautiful week. :)

Laura A - Oh my goodness. I am seriously drooling over these photos. LOVE them all!

Jessica - Holly, these are lovely–glad you got some images for your portfolio, too. And glad you loved the class!

Linda - Holly such amazing work!! I loved seeing all of these images put together, broken down into weeks. It also really really makes me want to take this workshop – though I am not ready yet but it gives me something to work on. Simply stunning work – the dramatic light is amazing and you are so lucky you have such willing subjects. I cannot wait to see where your photography moves to next with all that you’ve gained from this course.

Claire Lane - Holly these are simply stunning, you should be so proud of yourself! It’s clear you poured your heart and soul into this class. Wonderful review of the workshop too, it really is just as good as everyone says!
