Macro Monday: Broken

Monday, June 26th, 2017

This week’s theme for the Flickr Macro Monday group is “Broken.” From this week’s instructions:

Broken

If it is broken, don’t fix it–photograph it!

Bought it Broken

I purchased a blingy choker necklace a couple of weeks ago and went to wear it recently only to realize that it is broken. I hadn’t noticed it because the break was just on the backside of where the necklace wrapped around the card stock. Sigh. I hate returning stuff especially living out in the country… this was bought in San Antonio so it will be quite a drive to take it back. On the other side, there is a tiny gem missing too. Ugh.

Windshield Chip

I have a pretty big windshield chip that worked for this Broken theme but I liked the necklace better. I’ve had this chip in my windshield for about a year and a half. I don’t even notice it anymore but when someone else drives my car, they always remark on how distracting it is.

Nipped in the Bud

When searching for broken things for this week’s theme, I came across this tiny rosebud that had its stem broken. Aww, so sad!
