The Photographer Within’s Project 52 ~ A Year in Song has been so much fun and challenging at the same time! Our lyrical prompt for Week 3 was from Justin Timberlake’s Mirrors: “It’s like you’re my mirror, my mirror staring back at me.” Right away (just like in the first two weeks), I knew exactly what I wanted to shoot. But goodness, it was difficult to get my idea to reality! At first, I nearly gave up on my idea… so I shot a reflected image of Anna, Whole. But what I really wanted was a broken mirror with an image of Anna reflected in it. The world may label her, some may even say she is broken, but when I look at her, I see her whole, I see her, and I see myself. She is Unbroken.
