365 in 52 [2013] ~ Week Fifty-Two

Another year down! This was my 4th year in a row of doing an annual personal photography project and I’m proud to have completed it. I will be doing a P52 in 2014, but it will be a special themed project with The Photographer Within (details announced tomorrow!!!). I will be co-moderating the Flickr group, so you don’t even have to be a member of TPW to participate. I will announce all of the details tomorrow. 🙂

This last week of the year was truly magical. Christmas went wonderfully, no meltdowns or timeouts required. The children were appreciative and patient. Much fun was had by all.

Day 359 ~ Merry Minion

One of the biggest smiles of Christmas morning was this adorable minion backpack given to Anna from Jenny. Believe it or not, Anna’s obsession with the Minions has been replaced with Elsa and Anna from Frozen.

Day 359 ~ Their Big Gift

All three kids got a Nook for their big gift. I found this company that makes an SD card to put into the Nook that turns into an Android tablet. So for a fraction of the cost, they each essentially have their own iPads!

Day 361 ~ First Lesson

My gift to Curtis was father/son Tae Kwon Do lessons. My friend, Lynn, recommended Tiger Rock in Pflugerville. They are close family friends with the owners. The boys had a great time!

Day 362 ~ Art Deco Door

My last outing of the year was an evening out at the Domain with my husband and son. It is so interesting to me and urban too that people live in this retail establishment.
