Busy, busy, busy!!! It was the last week of school with 2 parties at 2 different schools, it was a short week after our annual block party, and we had an out-of-town trip! Whew! So I have HUNDREDS of photos but have barely had time to sort through them. I’m just gonna share school photos for now… after all, I am a proud momma. This weekend we went to a family wedding in Arkansas at a beautiful location, but drove up on Friday (11 hours) and back on Sunday (9.5 hours), so I’m still unpacking and relaxing today. Anna had a BLAST at the wedding and treated the bride like a celebrity, it was so cute. I can’t wait to share those photos. My poor pickle got a PFAPA Syndrome fever cycle but really wanted to go anyway, but he is paying the price now. He is a sick boy. 🙁
Day 146 ~ The Fruit of Her Labor
I shared a page from Anna’s writing journal on Facebook last week. The writing prompt was “What is something that you love about yourself and why?” And Anna answered, “One thing I love about myself is my sense of humor. I like to make people laugh. It makes me happy to see others smile.” I.Melt. It was awesome going through all of her work this year and seeing how hard she has worked. Ms. Martinez really pushed her and challenged her… and Anna rose to that challenge.
Day 150 ~ Last Day
Dominic had his graduation from 3rd grade party on Thursday and I got this awesome photo with his teacher, Mrs. Prud’homme. Shortly after this, he got a PFAPA Syndrome fever cycle and came home… and missed the true last day of school. He did a great job this year.
Day 151 ~ 5th Grade Graduate
Anna is now officially a middle-schooler. She worked very hard this year and is excited about the changes coming. I am so so so proud of her!
Day 151 ~ When Everyone Said, “Awww”
The 5th grade parents create a slideshow for the kids and asked for 5 photos of the kids. When this one of Anna flashed up, everyone said, “Awww!” Made my heart clench.
Day 152 ~ All Dressed Up
I am so happy to be in a family picture! Just a snapshot in the hotel lobby before the wedding, but look at my gorgeous family. I am down 57 pounds so far on Weight Watchers (started just before Halloween) and feeling great. Curtis is down almost 50 pounds. I can’t wait to edit all the photos from our whirlwind weekend. Anna had such a good time at the wedding.
