The My Four Hens Project 52 theme this week is Traditions. Because Jenny’s birthday falls on December 6th, I don’t put up Christmas decorations or our Christmas tree until after her birthday. One tradition that we do for every single birthday for every single family member is have this Happy Birthday banner hanging from our mantel. I’ve probably had this banner for over 16 years! Jenny’s birthday was on Thursday this week and she turned 21 years old! Of course I had the banner hanging and I also surprised her with 21 pink birthday balloons. She was delighted! We had a lovely day which culminated in her ordering her very first margarita at dinner. She and her boyfriend hit 6th Street later and stayed at a hotel downtown. Happy Birthday, Angel!
