“The Way I View”, A Clickin Moms 12-Month Challenge: March ~ Happiness

I’m participating in a fun 12-month challenge at Clickin Moms called “The Way I View”. Each month a group of 12 CM photographers interpret that month’s theme through photographs, then link to each other’s blogs.

March’s theme is The Way I View: Happiness. Looking back through the month, I was particularly struck with how happy this set of images felt… as a viewer, as a photographer, and to the children. This is Hallie, a little girl down the street, that loves playing with Anna and Dominic. It was shortly after the time change and all the kids were out enjoying the late sunny evening and Hallie found a dandelion puff. (You know how *I* love dandelion puffs!). This little spontaneous exchange with her and Dominic ensued… I’m so glad I was there to capture the memory. <3

I know this last image is out of focus, but I still love it… they were moving so quickly and with such joy that in the waning light, I just let the shutter speed slow to capture their movement. Thanks for looking! Now go check out Rachel’s blog!
