In honor of the holidays, I’m offering four mini-sessions, late in the afternoon on two separate weekends in November. The purpose of a mini-session is to offer a professional photography experience for your family at a discounted price with the goal of getting several good family images for holiday cards and gifts.
How it Works
~Pick your preferred date and time. Call or email me to book your session and schedule your pre-session consult.
~Pay the $75 deposit to guarantee your time slot. This can be paid by check or cash, and can be taken care of during our pre-session consult. Your spot is not guaranteed until the deposit has been paid.
~Meet with me at your home, my home, or Starbucks, to conduct our pre-session consult. We will go over the photography contract and model release, and we will discuss what to wear, poses, and the design of your card. We will also schedule your gallery viewing appointment to happen about a week after your session. This appointment will take about 20 minutes.
~At our session, I will have a few fun props for the kids and will get several poses (family together, just children, individual of each person) in a couple of different locations. This will be a fun and relaxed experience. I am only booking one family at a time so that you have my full attention and energy. If we go over on time a little, it’s not a big deal; I will ensure your gallery has a beautiful selection of unique images.
~Within a week, I will have a gallery of 8-10 images from which to choose your 5 digital images included in your mini-session package. We will meet in person to view your gallery and choose your images. At this time, you may order additional prints and products for extended family. The balance of your package will be collected as well as any additional purchases. If you want out-of-town family members to view the gallery, I will make the images available online through a password-protected post here on my blogsite. My professional print lab creates gorgeous, true-to-life prints so I strongly encourage additional prints be ordered through me.
~I will have your disc ready within a week of our gallery appointment. Included with your disc will be 5×7 prints of each of your purchased images. These are included as a reference so that you can see what your images look like when printed by a quality lab. Your custom-created holiday cards will take about 14 days to design, print, and deliver. The latest you will have your cards will be the first week of December, plenty of time to address and mail before the holidays.
