Project 52, Week 10

It’s been a good week! We had the Best Buddies Friendship Walk and Anna’s 10th birthday. Spring has made an official appearance and Jenny and I had a girl’s lunch out today!

I chose this photo of Anna from the friendship walk for my official photo of the week. I just love how she looks walking Audrey in the stroller… so grown-up and independent.

I also loved this photo of Jenny from the walk!

I was so excited to see the first blossoms on our pear tree this week. All of the trees are budding and spring is really here, woot!

On the way home from Anna’s Special Olympics soccer practice Wednesday night, we saw hundreds of birds lining the wires. We seem them do this every year about this time in the season and I think they are so creepy. I wonder why they do this?

I’ve been buying some equipment in anticipation of getting to do my very first newborn shoot soon for my neighbors. I got a set of studio lights and they came with white umbrellas to soften the light and I wondered if one would work as a reflector. So this afternoon I tried using an umbrella as a reflector with Dominic in the garage to see if it would add more light to his face and it worked pretty well! Please excuse the messy garage behind him however, lol!

Jenny and I got to have several hours together today too, a special girl’s lunch and afternoon together. We found this really cool rock water fountain that had a zero-gravity edge… I was entranced by it! Isn’t it neat?

Well I hope you can see why I had a hard time choosing which photo to use this week! I decided to heck with it and wanted to show more than one. It is my project after all, right? 😉

Thanks for looking!
