I was walking around in our side yard this evening, something I don’t do very often, and I was surprised to realize how much our trees have grown.
When we moved in this house 11 years ago, we transplanted our anniversary tree that my husband gave me on our first anniversary. We were warned that the tree might not survive the move but it did and it has flourished! These little acorns on our special tree really caught my attention tonight, especially the way the light emphasized the shadows and highlights to give them more depth.
It was a bit cooler here and gives me hope that autumn is around the corner.
